Aw, thanks! Yeah, not a coincidence, since the original genesis of the novel for which these ficlets are character studies, came from a prompt from greywash to do with Diana Barry Wright during WWI. It pretty quickly morphed into its own thing, but the Katherine/Rebecca thread (which will only appear in the novel itself through the lens of Rebecca's recollections 40 years on, never, as here, in the moment as baby!Rebecca is experiencing it) is the closest point of contact with Anne/Diana, for sure.
