Ahahahaha ohhhh well, as problems go it's a pretty good one to have.

I recently joined a couple meetup groups in the area, one a queer hiking group & the other a queer book group, and now I'm imagining how hard I am going to laugh when I show up with my wildflower guide and my copy of Myra Breckinridge and someone's like "But anyway, did you see the last episode of 'The Magicians'???"

LMAO I used to have this problem with the BBC show Merlin (everyone in my life was into it), and one time I showed up at this bat survey group where we went around figuring out how many bats were breeding in an area, and this guy in his 70s who had never talked to me or anyone else about anything aside from bats EVER suddenly said, "So I've been catching up on this TV programme, have you heard of it, it's called Merlin," and I did not handle it gracefully at all.

Both those groups sound so good though! Even if they do turn out to by mysteriously full of Magicians.
