Help me cast some porn?

I have a plot bunny (for a certain definition of "plot") which originally arose in my brain out of meta pettiness, but which I've become attached to in its own right, maybe enough to actually write it someday.

However, I need help with the casting. As such, taking suggestions:

What are your favorite fannish F/M pairings to write/read/imagine with a fem!domme/male!sub dynamic?

I could write it as original fiction, but since the original impetus came out of commentary on fannish norms, I'd prefer it to be fanfic.

(If it's useful, other AO3 tags likely to appear on this story: Predicament Bondage, Humiliation Kink, Clothing Disparity. Ideally it would take place in a world modern enough to contain smartphones.)

Margo/Quentin is also the pairing that sprang to mind for me... it would definitely work beautifully for this concept. It's especially difficult to think of another male character for whom the conceit would work as well. All of which is kind of unfortunate for me since I have a ton of hangups about writing Quentin, and the poor Magicians fandom has been jerked around & traumatized so much that I kind of feel like I should leave him to fans who connect more naturally with him than I do. Luckily it seems like people have a lot of great suggestions.

Speaking of which: Parker from Leverage! That's a delightful possibility. It would definitely—take this idea in a slightly different direction, since she strikes me as less mean and more just odd/on her own wavelength. But that's not necessarily bad; in fact I'm cracking up imagining out the ramifications. I also feel like the addition of either Hardison or Eliot as essentially an observer and egger-on would be both hot and hilarious. Ahahaha. Wonderful. Thanks for the suggestion!

I would like.... combust if you wrote this with Parker. She's definitely not naturally mean, but I can see her being very clear about what she wants, and what she thinks is good for her partner, and really going for it. Like, "Eliot I know you want to be humiliated while Hardison and I watch. Stop pretending you don't."

I could also, uh. Kind of see this dynamic with Sophie and Eliot? Which I know is not a traditional pairing for the fandom, but. In "The Tap-Out Job" there's this scene where Eliot is discussing throwing a boxing match, and he's all sweaty and vulnerable, and Sophie's like... discussing his vulnerability while looking like she wants to EAT him, and I've wanted her to top him since then, like burning. But idk how to write it, exactly.

I'll stop being so horny on main for Leverage now, sorry.

It just occurred to me that another argument for Parker is that rigging up elaborate suspensions, which feature in this story, is canonically part of her deal.

(I REMEMBER that scene you're talking about in the boxing episode! Hooooo. Sophie is actually the Leverage character I feel most drawn to writing fic about, all things considered—not shockingly, given my overall penchant for female con artists who persona-shift. This particular story conceit aside, there was a significant portion of the show where I medium-key shipped her & Parker, and writing her/Tara would also be HUGE fun.)

I ship Sophie and Parker SO HARD. Like -- the narrative doesn't put them together that much, but when it does it's fucking GLORIOUS. The scene at the end of S01 where Sophie shows up and saves Parker by wearing one of Parker's climbing harnesses and jumps off a building as Parker leaps into her arms is the most romantic fucking thing I've ever seen. Tara/Sophie also -- needs to happen, as does Tara/Sophie/Parker. Honestly, the things they could do together. I wish I could come up with heists because I feel like I could write a fucking novel about the three of them. Endless theft and UST followed by eventual kinky threesomes.

ANYWAY.

Parker would be so good at bondage; her abilities with knots and suspensions is a wildly under-utilised character trait in fic, and I think the world needs you to correct it. Also I know Leverage doesn't have as wide a reach as some fandoms but I still got a lot of comments on a Parker/Hardison/Eliot fic last year, so I think people are still reading that ship.

Yeah!!! I remember that jumping off the building scene! There was this whole season or so of the show where I kept turning to Gins (who had seen it before & was more familiar with the fandom) & being like "........ there really isn't much Sophie/Parker fic!? Even after that episode?? Even after THAT one???" I mean I do definitely understand that people are super attached to Parker/Eliot/Hardison & don't want to split them up, which I understand. But. It seems like there should be some middle ground there.

It had not even occurred to me to write Tara/Sophie/Parker as a threesome, but now I am INTO IT.

I feel like the Parker/Hardison/Eliot threesome doesn't really take off til season 3 at least, and I wonder if there was more Parker/Sophie fic written during Season 1 and 2? But probably not, it's fandom. :( I really enjoy how they're depicted on the show though, and I had an intensely satisfying time last summer just watching Leverage and writing Parker/Sophie for my own pleasure. AND YES Tara/Sophie/Parker would be SO GOOD, like they function so well as a team, and I can see Tara/Sophie having like -- an established set-up where they go out and rob rich guys as foreplay, and Parker tags along on the robbing part and then it just seems -- inevitable that they're having a threesome now. Also Parker would be such a brat for Sophie and Tara and so demanding and I would really enjoy -- seeing how that pans out.

I like the idea that for much of the heist it's sort of a question in Sophie & Tara's minds, like... to what extent Parker will be participating in the full evening's events; and then when one of them is diplomatically trying to let her know what usually happens at the end of these girls' nights out while also respecting her boundaries, she's like "Obviously we're having a threesome. You guys are weird. Why else would I have brought all these carabiners to a con at a single-storey building."

I'm thinking of Parker demanding to be tied up while Tara and Sophie play with her, but also directing them in the best ways to rig up a suspension, and offering A LOT of constructive criticism to their knot-trying techniques. I also like how there'd be such different dynamics between all three of them? Sophie and Parker have so much established trust, but I think Sophie would put up with a lot more brattiness from Parker, while Tara would be great at giving her the boundaries she clearly needs. When Tara was working with the crew I feel like she was constantly thinking, "So can I discipline this kid now, or."

Hahaha it is a digression from my digression, but a welcome one! (Frankly my whole writing brain is a warren of digressions at the moment; my spirit is hardcore rebelling against writing the last 20% of my MHHE story, to the point where I think I'm going to have to bribe myself into finishing it by letting myself detour into a one of these quick one-shots every time I finish a scene. This Parker/Sophie/Tara thing would fill that role delightfully.)

And yessssss that's how I was envisioning it too! Parker would have VERY specific ideas, which to her would probably seem self-evident, about the ways in which Sophie & Tara should tie her up. Like—it would probably not even seem to her like she was being bratty? She would just be surprised that someone would try to use a constrictor knot in that application when the more obvious choice for something you want to be able to move around later would be a clove hitch. (Sophie: "Will we want to move it around later?" Tara, thinking through her vision for the evening: "... Yes, damn it, she's right.")

I also love the idea of Sophie's and (even more so) Tara's probable levels of shared bemusement at the unexpected, if fun, turn their night has taken. But hey, it's no stranger than a lot of their shared history.

I don't think Parker would really understand the concept of being bratty enough to ever be deliberately bratty, but she would still be incapable of keeping still or shutting up unless she saw a good reason to do so. But I think things like, "Being competently tied up" and "Getting to give Sophie head" and "Getting spanked by Tara" would be pretty strong motivators for her to go along with their plans -- as long as they don't do anything to make her too impatient. Tara: "You're exhausting, I don't know how anyone puts up with you." Parker (in a suspension tie, complaining that she would have used a different kind of rope for this): "What are you talking about? I'm just really helpful."

I feel like Tara and Sophie usually sex to wind down after their night of cons, and want to get the adrenaline out of their systems, whereas Parker doesn't understand the idea of winding down at all, and Sophie and Tara, while having a really good time, are a little bit thinking, "Will this kid ever calm down. Ever."

Hahaha yessss I love the "Will this kid ever calm down, ever" characterization for Sophie & Tara. I have more or less actually had this threesome, and find this detail highly relatable. That is what you get for inviting a hyper youngster along for your chill evening of (in my case) cocktails and dancing and (in T&S's case) persona-shifting and conning rich men. Or at least. Letting her invite herself along.

Also LOVE (LOVE!!) Parker's concept of herself as extremely helpful and informative while being the bossiest bottom on the block. Yet also capable of a lot when properly motivated. Delicious, delicious.
